Dr. Nguyen earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry in San Francisco. Deciding to pursue his passion for the science of periodontology and dental implants, he completed his postdoctoral specialty training and received dual certificates in Periodontology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, and from the Birmingham Veterans Affairs Hospital. He is board certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He is trained and experienced with intravenous sedation to maximize patient comfort. Continuing education is very important to him, and he spends a considerable amount of time to be at the forefront of periodontology. Dr. Nguyen’s passion is to bring the very best possible care for his patients.

Dr. Michael Nguyen is a native of the California Bay Area. In his leisure, Dr. Nguyen enjoys an active lifestyle. He enjoys the outdoors, including bicycling and hiking. He is an avid sports fan and cheers on the Bay Area’s hockey, baseball, basketball, and football teams. Most of all though, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and two daughters.
