We pride ourselves on being one of the absolute best dental implant specialists around. Dental implants are my specialty and passion, and I go out of my way to ensure that each of my patients receives best care possible. Part of the credit goes to the superior technology we use in our office. Here is a brief explanation of some things that we have to offer to make your dental implant experience superior.
Since the beginning of my career I understood that fear and anxiety keep countless numbers of people from getting the dental treatment they need. To be perfectly honest I’m not particularly fond of being in that chair myself!
That’s why I became a specialist in sedation dentistry. I’ve had many patients over the years tell me that visiting my office was as relaxing as visiting a spa! You shouldn’t have to be frightened and anxious during your visits to the dentist, and in my office you don’t have to be.
There are varying levels of sedation, depending on your particular needs. Some patients may require just a bit of laughing gas to calm the nerves, while other patients may need to be put out completely. One of the greatest aspects of sedation dentistry is the ability to get lots of work done in a single visit, as opposed to having to draw it out making the anxiety even worse.
And because the visits are so stress free and painless, healing times tend to be faster.-another added bonus to the benefits of sedation dentistry.
Same Day Implants
One of the annoying things about intensive dental care is the time it takes. Back in the day you’d have to go get a root canal, come back for a temporary crown, wear that for weeks at a time, and then come back again for the permanent crown.
With sedation dentistry and advanced healing technology, I can do implants in a single day! You can come in with a missing tooth and leave with a perfectly formed, perfectly fitted brand new tooth. No more waiting for weeks, with a half-finished mouth for your permanent crown or implant to come in. We can create it right here in the office!
PRF Advanced Healing Technology
One of the most fascinating procedures I’ve incorporated into my practice is Platelet Enriched Fibrin Enhanced Healing, or PRF healing. It’s a supplemental procedure that is very simple but offers great healing benefits.
I simply take a small amount of the patients’ blood and use a centrifuge to separate the platelets and white blood cells, and then inject them into the site of the dental implant.
PRF healing technology is more commonly used in plastic surgery and dermatology- it isn’t very common in dentistry-yet. The benefits are a healthier faster healing time, with fewer occurrences of complications or infections. All as a result of using your own blood to heal!
